At the Adams County Chamber of Commerce, we believe in supporting the next generation of leaders in our community. We have created a scholarship program to enrich our young leaders to excel in their careers.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a senior graduating from a high school in Adams County (includes homeschooling) in the Spring of 2024.
- Minimum grade point average of 2.5.
Essay Prompt:
Compose a 500-word essay: "What are your career aspirations, and how do you see your involvement with your local Chamber of Commerce aligning with these goals?"
Required Documents:
- Complete transcript of grades OR letter from guidance counselor stating GPA.
- Two letters of reference (cannot be from parents, family members, or guidance counselors).
Submission Deadline:
Applications and supporting documents must be submitted to the Adams County Chamber of Commerce by May 6th at 5 p.m. by emailing the application and supporting documents to info@adamscountyohchamber.com or by mailing the application and supporting documents to the Adams County Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 849, West Union, OH 45693. Mail applications must be postmarked by May 6th.
Acknowledgment
Winners will be notified by email and a phone call from the Adams County Chamber of Commerce. The Adams County Scholarship Dinner will take place on May 23rd at 6:00 p.m. at the Adams County Traning and Business Center located at 107 E. Walnut, West Union, Ohio 45693 and scholarship winners must be present to attend for their award. Recipients will receive 4 general admission tickets to the scholarship dinner.
